Nitin Ajmera

For more than 30 years, I have worked with businesses, taught students, and served communities. Each experience has reinforced something I believe deeply: understanding people and their circumstances matters as much as understanding the decisions in front of them.

My career has taken me through difficult financial decisions, teaching, and community work. Along the way, I have learned that good judgment requires more than technical knowledge. It requires listening carefully, asking the right questions, and understanding how a decision will affect people over time.

Biography

Different Rooms. The Same Responsibility.

In my childhood, I was fortunate to grow up in the Jain faith and go to a Christian missionary school. Life has since given me the opportunity to serve as a CFO for more than 30 years, to teach at Drexel University where I was once a student, and to chair the Board of Trustees of the Parliament of the Worldโ€™s Religions. Whatever the room โ€“ a boardroom, a classroom or a prayer hall โ€“ I try to bring the same thing: no prescription without a diagnosis, and respect for every person affected by the decision.

No prescription without a diagnosis.

Speaking

Stories From Inside the Decision

Nitin speaks from what he has lived, not from borrowed frameworks โ€“ financial decisions under pressure, turnaround and resilience, leadership with integrity, and what it takes to hold people together when the clock is running.

30 years of numbers that had to mean something.

Teaching

Teach People to Fetch

The job is not to hand someone the answer. It is to give them the tools to find the next one.

I will teach them how to fetch.

30+ Years

Look Further Out

The question is not only what happens in the next 30 days. What will the decision look like 30 years from now?

Look further out.

Principles

The Principles That Travel With Me

Different rooms, but the same responsibility: understand first, respect the people involved, and decide what comes next.

01

DIAGNOSIS FIRST

Every person, every business and every situation is different. No prescription without a diagnosis.

03

NEVER BURN THE BRIDGE

How a decision is delivered matters as much as the decision itself.

ADVISE

After more than 30 years in financial leadership, I know the numbers rarely tell the entire story. My advisory work begins with understanding the business, the people behind it, and the decisions that cannot wait.

01

SPEAK

Some of the most valuable lessons come from situations where there is no easy answer. Through speaking and teaching, I share experiences that invite people to question assumptions, consider consequences, and make thoughtful decisions.

02

SERVE

My involvement in education, Jain organizations, and interfaith initiatives reflects a belief that experience carries responsibility. Service is an opportunity to listen, learn, contribute, and help others move forward.
